Director of Music Ministry
I graduated from West Chester University in 2012 (Summa Cum Laude) with a dual bachelor degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education. I currently teach private voice and piano lessons in the Greater Philadelphia area and perform with illumine, a classical music trio comprised of my husband, David, (on violin) and my mother-in-law, Jodie (on piano). In addition, I am versed in opera, having performed such roles as Hänsel in Hänsel und Gretel and Prince Charmant in Cendrillon. My other interests include: ballet, European history, cooking, gardening, and high-intensity weight training.

Chancel Choir (adult choir)- Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00 in the sanctuary at Shenkel UCC. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Chime Choir- Practices are held on Thursday from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in the Social Hall. This ensemble is open to adults and youth who are in 6th grade and older.
Youth Choir- Rehearsals for this ensemble are held on Sunday afternoons from 11:45-12:45 in the Sanctuary at Shenkel UCC for students in 6th-12th grade.

Celebration Singers- A singing group consisting of children in kindergarten-5th grade. Rehearsals will be held on Sunday mornings at 10:45 AM.
Rehearsal Times
*CHRISTMAS EVE: Once again, Shenkel will be offering two Christmas Eve services, one at 7:00 PM (Lessons in Carols) and the other at 10:00 PM (Contemplative) with musical preludes before each. Shenkel’s Chancel, Youth, and Chime Choirs, as well as the Celebration Singers will be singing/playing during these services. In addition, I am looking for instrumentalists and any singers who regularly participate in one of our choral groups to offer special music during each of the preludes.
